Become a Naturalist

Join our Whale Watch Naturalist Training Program and become a certified volunteer educator on local whale watching boats. Share your knowledge of marine mammals with thousands of passengers each year and make a direct impact on public awareness of ocean conservation.

Attend an Event

Our monthly speaker events feature leading marine biologists, researchers, and conservationists. Events are free, open to the public, and often available via Zoom for remote attendees. It is one of the easiest ways to learn and connect with the local marine science community.

Join the American Cetacean Society and become a member of the Orange County chapter. Membership supports whale research, education, and advocacy efforts nationwide. Members receive the quarterly journal Whalewatcher and access to member-only events and field trips.
